CALL FOR TESTERS: All Well Cardigan Coat
We are so excited to announce our call for testers for the All Well Cardigan Coat sewing pattern! This is truly one of the most versatile patterns I’ve ever met. I designed it as a personal pattern last winter because I was cold and wanted more layers, and now I’ve fallen in love with its simplicity and how radically different and special it is in different fabrics. I’ve made almost ten versions for myself already and wear them all, and now I’m so excited to share it with you! The possibilities with this pattern are truly endless. I can’t wait till your wardrobe is full of All Well Cardigan Coats in all shapes and sizes and colors and drapes too! With simple construction, tons of opportunities to hack and customize, and the perfect vehicle to showcase amazing fabric, this pattern really feels in-line with one of the visions for All Well’s patterns — to make the kinds of sewing patterns we want to (and do!) sew again and again and again!
We are working hard to release this pattern early this winter. Because of this, our testing period is not very long. If you commit to testing, be sure that you are able to test-sew this pattern and give feedback between Thursday, November 21 and Sunday, December 1. (That’s only eleven days!).
This pattern includes a variety of length, hemline, and pocket options, with instructions and tips included for dozens more suggested variations and hacks in our Hacking Guide that comes free with the final pattern! It’s suitable for medium to heavy-weight fabrics. We are looking for testers across our size range (Bust circumference 32-62" (~81-157 cm), and across sewing ability levels and experience. If you’re selected to test, we’ll send you fabric quantities and all the information you’ll need to prepare on Tuesday, November 19th. This pattern sews up super quick, so who knows, maybe you’ll end up making a cardigan AND a coat!
